.....you'll have to move the cat.

Samantha

Samantha is always trying to crowd onto my lap, whether I'm reading,
sewing, or on my webtv, so she had to be included in my homepage.
Sam is a beautiful, long-haired cat, just a little overweight.

I found her at Cat Welfare when I went there looking for a tortoiseshell kitten.
How did I end up choosing Sam, a black cat with a white bib,
and two white toes on her left hind paw?

Love at first sight.

She had either been lost or abandoned, and living under a bush for several weeks,
 before someone brought her in. Samantha was so happy to go home with me.
But when we got here and she found out that we had a dog,
 a hyperactive American Eskimo named Nikki,
she hid under the bed for 3 days.

Samantha is 14 years old now (72 in human years),
 and still chases her tail when she's feeling especially frisky.
Every time I get up off the couch, she grabs my spot.
She thinks it's the best seat in the house.
Sam has tried every basket in the house on for size.
